Sustainability is not a trend, it’s a must. Travellers around the world keep the aviation industry on its toes by demanding better practice on all levels. The question was never if, but what we should do. We can all do our part; the passenger, the airline and the industry. KLM already creates environmental awareness by suggesting to Fly Responsibly through its marketing campaigns. But apart from perception, there is a great opportunity for the company to make a substantial difference through its operations as well. How? By changing the onboard service from a disposable to a closed loop recycling system.
We created an elevator pitch in the form of an animation film. Why animation? Because it allows a concise and powerful pitch, with full control over pace, narrative, voice and music. And when presenting live to everyone in the company is not an option, an animation is easy to share without loss of impact.
